The Umar and Correctional Medical Care Future Health Leaders of America Scholarship was created in 2013 to support students and aid them in unlocking their full potential. The Umar and Correctional Medical Care Future Health Leaders of America Scholarship is a monetary award for local area high school and junior college students who are or will be pursuing a degree in a medical field. In keeping with the tradition of giving back to the community, we will award multiple scholarships to local high school and junior college students with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in any medical field.
