Greetings from Emmanuel Presbyterian Church! Whether youโre new to Philadelphia or a longtime local, we would love to have you join us for worship! We are located atย 4723 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139,just a couple of blocks west of University City.
Emmanuel is part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), which means that, among other things, we are strongly committed to Scriptures as the inerrant and infallible Word of God. OUR VISION STATEMENT
We, Emmanuel Church, aim to be a missional church that strives to obey and fulfill the Lordโs Great Commission, from Philadelphia to the ends of the Earthโฆ
1. By reaching out to the multi-ethnic community of West Philadelphia and the greater Philadelphia region with the purpose and desire of making them disciples of Jesus Christ.
2. By reaching out to the Korean immigrant community with the purpose and desire of making them disciples of Jesus Christ.
3. By reaching out to and providing a home for the Korean international students in the greater Philadelphia region with the same purpose and desire.
4. By engaging in world missions that focuses on unreached people groups, and by being actively involved in partnership with trustworthy and professional missions agencies in order to finish the task that remains.
Our vision statement is supported by five core values:
1. Worship โ magnifying the glory of God through worship
2. Discipleship โ training our members to become mature disciples of Jesus Christ
3. Fellowship โ freely sharing the love of Christ with one another
4. Serving โ edifying the church according to our gifts and calling
