The Korean American Grassroots Conference (KAGC) is seeking a current undergraduate student to serve as a part-time Digital Media Intern from June through January 2026. Interns will work remotely under the supervision of a practicing university professor specializing in strategic communications. Qualified candidates must have excellent communication, digital, writing, and time management skills. Knowledge of Korean American civic advocacy is a plus.

2025년 6월부터 2026년 1월까지 대학생을 대상으로 KAGC U 디지털 미디어 인턴십 프로그램이 운영됩니다. 본 프로그램은 어번 대학교 대학원장이자 전략 커뮤니케이션 분야의 전문가인 천명기 교수님의 지도 아래 비대면 파트타임 형태로 진행됩니다.

디지털 미디어 인턴들은 KAGC의 디지털 콘텐츠 제작 및 커뮤니케이션 업무 전반에 참여하게 되며 글쓰기, 디자인, 시간관리 능력이 요구됩니다. 본 인턴십은 무급으로 운영되며, 다양한 커리어 개발 기회와 더불어 각종 KAGC의 대학생 프로그램에 우선적으로 참여할 수 있는 기회가 주어집니다. 자세한 정보는 아래에서 확인하실 수 있으며, 지원를 원하는 학생은 신청서를 6월 12일(목) 오후 11시 59분까지 제출해주시기 바랍니다.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating social media posts across multiple platforms
- Producing graphics and editing photos and videos
- Identifying digital media trends to develop new social media marketing campaigns
- Monitoring social media analytics to track growth and engagement
- Providing insights and suggestions to strengthen digital outreach to the Korean American audience


Qualifications:
- Full-time enrollment in a university pursuing an undergraduate degree, or recent graduation within the last 12 months at the time of applying
- Prior experience in strategic communication, graphic design, and video editing
- Hands-on experience in social media management, such as content creation
- Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Congress and the federal legislative process is a plus
- Korean language proficiency is preferred but not required



Internship Application Details:
- 2 Remote Openings: 1 selected nationwide & 1 selected from the DC/MD/VA area
- Application Closing: Thursday, June 12 at 11:59 PM ET
- Internship Duration: June 2025 - January 2026
- Weekly Hours: 5 - 10 hours per week
- 3 portfolio samples required for submission
